Nothing beats exploring old bricks on a sleepy afternoon.  All football grounds should be like this; Dens’ massive footprint once enabled 40,000-plus crowds, and its 1921 Archibald Leitch main stand is still lovingly maintained. High terrace banking survives to signpost the site’s original scale.
